I have been reading about this event and always wanted to go. Stoked to be able to finally hit it. I will be heading down with Courtney if you want in.

Just heard that the CAO bike was handed to the winner. Sara created the designs and I tooled everything, seat, side bags and tank panel. Big thanks  to Sam for the video, he made me feel so comfortable that I didn’t even realize he was filming.

Sara Ray rocks!

At the art show , I had the privilege to see Sara's work up close. She is a amazing artist, who  has been on many of the SPS builds and her work is always impeccable.  I am a huge fan of the painting above. It is easy for me talk to her, we both like and dislike the same things.

She told me that recently someone had stolen some of  her personal belongings and apparel, so please help us be on the look out for her stuff. If you happen to see it somewhere and Sara isn’t working the booth, call me.

Thy Will Be Done update

Big thanks to everyone that came out in that insane heat to support Tay and Joe’s show. I was even lucky enough to sell a piece to my friends Rob and Talisa . This show is growing and I can’t wait for the next one.

Mooneyes

Thanks for the invite.

This show was insane, massive crowds, a jet dragster,drag racing, cool music, friends and family, all in all a perfect day! Shige is a ruler. I still can’t believe he let me cram my big ass in the Mooneyes Dragster. I’d never be able to drive it. My shoulders didn’t fit between the cage and my head, with no helmet, was smashed against the top loop. Still fun as hell and glad I was able to get out of it without having to cut the car apart.

It is mind blowing to Lisa and I the amount of people that have been following the DB Custom Leather brand through out the years. We appreciate your support!

Big thanks to Cindy and Alex for helping us get the bikes down to the speedway.

Tay has hooked me up with another spot to showcase some of my  wall panels. I really like doing this show. Great bunch of people, laid back atmosphere and awesome art. This hits the day before the Mooneyes show that we will be set up at. See you there!

After the Swap

 LA Speed Shop has reserved the PIKE restaurant and lounge on 4th street for a laid back event after the swap. They will be doing free raffle prizes and have Tobe from the Streetdogs will be DJ'ing.  The Pike is running their breakfast menu all day for us. $6 bacon and eggs,  see you there.

19th Annual YOKOHAMA HOT ROD Custom Show 2010
Feels early to announce? Not so, December will be here before you know it and MOONEYES always begins in early Spring as there's much work to do in the pre-stage of planning. This year is no exception with huge names in the industry and stunning cars that are already lined up.

A year in the making, maybe more. MOONEYES has been in contact with two very talented fine artists. Both of them are in their own league and one was a fundamental ingredient to the Low Brow Art movement and created ART JUXTAPOZ magazine. Both are married,both are hot rod enthusiasts, and both are life-long car lovers. We are talking about Suzanne Williams, a contemporary fine artist of abstract expressionism with symmetrical balance work and '34 Ford Tudor Sedan owner and Robert Williams, a living legend in theKustom Kulture movement, Low Brow mastermind artist that bridges the gap of realism and surrealism and owner of a '32 Ford Roadsterpainted in the scheme of his childhood memories of circle track racing in the south. Both artists and both cars will be at HCS2010. That's not all! There are big plans for this occasion. One is a Preview of sorts to what will be featured and exhibited at the show in December. The show in December will feature a large exhibition of artworks from both artists as well as people in the industry that have been influenced by them. It is aTribute to Robert Williams. The Preview of a Tribute to Robert Williams will be held at MOONEYES Area-1 inAugust 2010. Stick around for more details to come!

What an awesome show

Amazing, absolutely amazing!!!!! DEVO killed it last night at Hollywood Park. They are heading to San Diego in August and you can guarantee that we will be there!
