Big thanks to Cicero!
Received the best Christmas present this year. Cicero Deguzman Jr. came by the house a few months back to shoot both of my bikes and the shop for his second book, GODSPEED 45/06 DOCUMENT NO. 2. I was stoked on Christmas Eve to get my official copy from him. The book is amazing and has some great guys in it, like Kutty Noteboom, Rico Fodrey, John Copeland, Jeffrey Schad, Nelson Kanno, Josh Mills, Lock Baker, and Yoshi Kosaka. I am honored to be in this line up of talented people! You can get your copy here

Working on a new website
Well finally after a few years with the same old look, I am upgrading the DB Custom Leather website. I would like to create a page featuring my finished products on your bikes or enjoying that custom wallet. I would need a quality shot, like the one above sent in by Wes D. of Trevelen. If you are down for this, please send me a email. Thanks!

DRI and the boy
Went to see DRI with Wayne, Mike and Jason at the House of Blues. DRI killed it! We never seen so many white hi tops in our lives. DRI is heading back this way and I know we will be there yet again

Thanks Wes D.
Here is the panels at the event. Big thanks to Wes D. for helping us out with the shots, our camera didn’t take very good shots in here.
You were missed
We are waiting to see Paul Cox at the Art Show but that never happened. He broke down in Ohio and couldn’t make it. Paul’s painting were amazing to look at. He is a true artist. Paul helped me with my business when he decided to step away from the scene for awhile. He told his clients to go with me and I don’t think I could ever thank him enough. See you soon buddy, you were missed.

What a great weekend
I don’t think Lisa and I have ever done a weekend like this. Three days of events with a lot of fun times throw into the mix. We started by setting up at the Thy Will Be Done art show. I have never done a gallery showing but after this I really want to do more. The leather panels looked awesome in the frames and Dad’s piece received a lot of attention. We met some of the coolest people and it was great to be able to hang out with Jeff Cochran, Lisa and Kurt Taylor, Hot Dog, Tarrera, Buckwild and Big Iron Joe. Trevelen couldn’t make it but his work was amazing. I was honored to be attached to that caliber of talent in the room. It was really cool to see SugarBear and Fuji the next night, along with Irish Rich and so many more, not to mention we finally got to meet Jesse James. Big thanks to all of our friends that came out in the pouring rain to support us, it means a lot!

It took me awhile to get them done but I am happy with the outcome. The six panels will be on display Saturday night @ The BlackSmith Gallery, 1014 N. Parker Street, Orange, Ca.
Dad will be there is spirit as I am using one his drawings for the centerpiece but this item is not for sale. Hope to see you there.
We will give you a update on the show next week.
One crazy weekend ahead

It was bound to happen
Our friend Mike D called us the other day and gave Wayne the deal of the century. He hooked him up with an old 1973 cb750 powered chopper in an Amen rigid frame for free. So it is back to the grinding and welding but the boy will be doing most of the work.
Once Courtney saw the frame he offered up a sweet tank to donate to the build. Thanks a lot!
So it is now time to move the gym outside so we can work on this little gem.
I will keep you updated with the ongoing progress.
Mike D. , you are a ruler!

David Mann Chopperfest
I will be set up by the Biltwell guys again this year. This is by far one of the best events in So Cal. Killer bikes, a laid back atmosphere and cool bike show. I am entering the Pink Taco this year, hopefully they get it.
