I need a part for the Sabre

IMG_8808When Steve  was out for the Hippy Killer Hoedown, we tore into the Sabre as the speedometer hasn’t been working right. Well after a  hour of testing many wires , he realized the sending unit on the front wheel is shot!

IMG_8810                   IMG_8814 Both of us have searched but haven’t had any luck. It is a 85 Honda Sabre and if  you know a guy that knows a guy, that might have the part, let me know please, duane@dbcustomleather.com

Big thanks to Steve for having the patience to deal with all those wires.

Little Jenny killed it!

IMG_1984

I seen one of Jenny’s painting last year @ the Primer Nationals and knew I wanted it for a tattoo. She lives in Santa Cruz so getting the time to meet never seemed to work. Well thanks to Chris at Power Tattoo Company, the deal was done yesterday. She is super light handed and it was by far the least painful tattoo I have sat through.  IMG_1714 IMG_1952

Congratulations Alberto

Just received these images of Alberto’s new restaurant, MOON CAFE in Jesolo Italy from Shige. When we were in Japan, we ate @ Shige’s CAFE and it was awesome! These are from the grand opening on May 18.

Sheath

I like when I get asked to make something different. These don’t come through my shop very often but they are fun to make. I have a big project coming up I’m REALLY looking forward to. If you have something in mind and aren’t sure if I’ll be into it just ask. You may end up having your idea turned onto reality and I’ll get to make something different again.

Breaking Ground

From Cycle Source Magazine

together

“During the Easyriders show at the Los Angeles Convention Center yesterday spectators got to witness history in the making. The well known Mongols and Hell Angels met and broke bread during the event. Everyone couldn't believe their eyes and were glad to see both groups heading to the right direction. This is just a stepping stone but here at Cycle Source, we are hoping that there is a great outcome equally . We would like to thank both sides for allowing Angel Eyes to capture this momentous occasion!”

Bikes are home safe and sound!

Rico and I went to Long Beach the other day to get the bikes. It was a great ride home.

Swapping logos

It never fails, I hit a few events and come back with a arm load of shirts from my friends. We are all in this together and wearing their product is a no brainer. Do me a favor and check out their sites, killer people just trying to make a buck! Hit their shirt for a closer look! Thanks for the support!

Hot Bike Magazine stopped by the shop

IMG_0388

Be sure to grab next months Hot Bike as I just completed a tech article with them. The lay out should be pretty informative as Jeff grabbed every shot for hours.  Do you think Chris Long is happy with the outcome?

IMG_0389IMG_0386 This month’s issue has my buddy Zach’s bike- the CHC Hustler- as one of the feature bikes, we are pretty stoked for him!
