Watched the judges go over the Pink Taco yesterday. I wouldn’t want to have to do their job. The bike is in the Semi Custom Metric class and I will let you know if we place.

Off to the Grand National Roadster Show
Kutty and I are heading out today to set up for the Grand National Roadster Show. I have the Pink Taco entered and Kutty is entering three bikes in the show. Hope we bring something home this time.
Wayne spent some time on the computer and made me a sign for all of my sponsors and buddies that helped with the build. I believe he found his calling. The camera doesn’t do it justice. I will be there all weekend long, can’t get bored at this show, it has 8 buildings of radness.

Happy Birthday McGoo!
Went to a special place that McGoo only knew about to have a wonderful meal with this great guy. Mcgoo played a major roll with the fabrication of the Pink Taco. He stayed here for countless hours helping me figure out key items on the bike and I know I will pay him back soon enough with his Spartan Killer build. Happy Birthday buddy!

Seat pan help
Lately I have been spending more time fixing pans than actually doing the leather work. I have so many different companies that I work with who can hook you up with a pan. I understand that creating ones own pan is affordable but it has to have strong enough welds to hold up under the pressure of the road. Please don’t think that I am being a douche, it is really slowing down the seat making process here. If you haven’t made one before feel free to call me and I’ll help out in any way I can. Thanks.

On the corner of Spruce and Ohio
I love it in California!!! On any given day, something radical shows up at our door. Today’s gem was Jason’s sweet 53 Buick Special and it ran like a champ.
Kick ass interior! If Lisa could have it her way , it would be hers!

Pretty stoked
I have been a huge fan of Street Chopper magazine and a avid collector( have most of them). I have been getting calls all day long, the issue is out but I haven’t seen it. Hopefully, I will find a copy this weekend. This is a memory that I will hold for awhile. My first Cover! Wes D. you are the man!

Be there
Big thanks to Jeff Holt for having the Pink Taco in the next Street Chopper. Wes D. did a great job with the shoot and it is cool to share the cover with Kutty! Menace Motorcycle has recently opened their own full bar and grill.
You can find your way to Menace Motorcycles here
Easyrider bound……..
If it wasn’t for true friends like Kutty and Mike D. this trip would of been rough! They hooked Lisa and I up with rides and getting our stuff to the show. I need to get a truck and small enclosed cab so I can get my own shit to shows. So many things to buy, so little money.
Anyways, let it be said , I am looking forward to showing everyone what choppers should look like.

On the corner of Spruce and Ohio
Stoked for Kutty for getting the Plum Smuggler back today from the Mooneyes vault. It will be cool to see both bikes side by side for the first time at a show. Glad we aren’t competing in the same class!
I better get my act together ( fixing a small mishap from the David Mann Show). Check out the new Biltwell exhaust tips.
Hello old friend

On any given Sunday, part two
Ended the day by heading home to work on Wayne Cb750 frame with him and McGoo.
We welded in the main supports for the rear frame mounts and did a little sheet metal work under the seat area. Big thanks to Craze for hooking us up with the welder!
Wayne did great on his first day of actual fabrication. He cut and shaped the tubes for the mounts and made everything else look nice once I welded them up.
McGoo helped by coming up with the idea of putting sheet metal over the seat area and made the pattern. He always seems to be a big help when we’re working on these projects. To follow Wayne’s build be sure to add his blog to your list.
Next thing on the list is a lift, this building off of the ground is crazy.
On any given Sunday
Started the day with a ride down to Temecula to strip down a Sportster that Mike D. from Biltwell recently purchased. Four dudes started unbolting, cutting and de-manned this beast from stock to skeleton in two hours. We don’t mess around folks! Had a great lunch at McGoo’s hidden special place that he only knows about (I have been there a few times with him but if you know McGoo like I know him, everyday is a new experience)
McGoo using his super powers.
Willis Rocks!
Can’t wait to see what Mike does with this build? Follow his thread on Chop Cult, everyone’s doing it!
