Scored second place at the Beatnik Blowout

Got a sweet trophy for the Pink Taco at the Beatnik Blowout, a killer set of bongos. The EC van doesn’t have tunes yet so I played Lisa a few songs on the way back to Orange.  She asked me not to give up my day job, but I don’t know why, I thought liked I sounded like Ricky Ricardo!

It was cool to get a trophy seeing that this was the first year they allowed Jap bikes to be displayed. We were totally stoked for Little Jenny, as she grabbed second for her  sweet new build , the Super Bee. Watch for it in the next Street Chopper Magazine.

Thanks for hanging out at the booth, you and Davey are always welcomed!

This sweet girl had to get her picture taken on the Pink Taco. She had her coat on and surprised us with having on a matching shirt, we think they are made for each other.

The second Hippy Killer Hoedown kicked ass! Big props to Kutty and Lisa for pulling it off. Seen a lot of old friends and made some new ones.

It was great to see West, Tammy and James…..( sorry Lisa put you to work, but you did save her a few times throughout the day). Tammy, thanks for the sunscreen, my bald head was getting burnt.

It was really cool to see both bikes side by side.

Great show , can’t wait for round three.

Mooneyes Illustrated

The new issue of Mooneyes Illustrated comes out April 24th. I’m VERY excited to be included in the new issue. I’m even more excited that I’ve been asked to come to Japan with my two CB750 choppers next December in Yokohama! Pick up the DVD from last years show here.  The Honda’s get to go home and visit. Who would of ever thought that would happen. Thanks Shige and Goshu!!!

Mike D. is a ruler

I am super swamped this week so Mike D. saved me a little time and picked up this sweet sewing machine from the Leather Machine Company. I have been dying to get a hold of the Cobra Class 3, this machine is so damn powerful, can sew thru 7/8’ of leather like butter. Steve is the owner of the Leather Machine Company and I would like to thank him for getting the machine to me. If you are in need of a quality piece of equipment from a stand up guy, please get a hold of Steve and tell him I sent ya!

I will be using this sewing machine for all of the Industrial Age products coming soon to the Eternal Combustion website. Please let me get thru the Hoedown first

It’s a boy!

This is my friend/brother PJ and his new son Avry Frank Delaurentis, 8lbs 4ozs. Congrats to the both of you, can’t wait to meet the little guy!

Heading to the Street Chopper event

Lisa and I had Mike D, Bill, Craze, BF Josh and Jeremy  pull out of Lake Elsinore with us to meet up with Wompy for the Street Chopper party. Lane splitting at it’s best.

 

 

 

Once we got there, we met up with  Alex and Renato  and rode back with them

 

 

All in all, it was a GREAT day off spent with friends!

Please help support Chris Callen and the Limpnickie Lot’s Big Mountain Run happening on May 19 – 23rd. I don’t think I can make this unless there is a lot of us from the west coast heading that way. from last year’s pictures, it looks pretty wild and the riding seems to be on the type of road I like, smooth and easy. If you are in the area, be sure to stop by as I can guarantee they will keep you entertained. Thirty bucks for the whole weekend, bands included, sound pretty cool to me.

Mike, Ethan and Larry showed up and proved to Lisa that real men do real things. Her belly was hurting thinking how in the heck we were supposed to get the 3000+ lbs. press in it’s new home.
